Studio Goals:
Students have an extremely diverse variety of goals and aspirations. The core focus of this studio is to provide those willing the necessary tools to grow and learn independently over time as well as experiences geared toward connecting outward with the community in engaging performances and recitals as well as collaborative experiences that aid in building valuable networks with other guitarists.

About the Studio Instructor
The New Orleans Guitar Studio is making its debut this year in 2023! Focusing on outreach primarily in SE Louisiana, I am gearing up to offer guitar instruction with the primary goal of focusing on a combination of the student’s technical needs and musical interests. I actively perform with my duo partner, Brandon Carcamo, and a larger group we both perform in, the New Orleans Guitar Quartet. My background is primarily in music education with studying classical and jazz guitar intensively throughout my undergrad experience, later continuing on to do an added two years of guitar performance instructed by Dr. Jay Kacherski. Moving into 2024/25 I will be teaching guitar at my Alma Mater, Loyola University New Orleans, I look forward to directing and programming music for students and ensembles that develop in the studio both here and on campus!
